Fastest ever 3.2km @ 2-mile run (Personal best)
Yesterday, I was pushing to run under 18 mins, but only managed 18:09.80... Sigh... but I already pushed to the max! I mean, after stopping, I could barely walk, and my breathing... phew... like I'm a hurricane-brewing maching...
But thank God I could run that fast. I mean, 6 months ago, when I started running, I did 26:16. And yesterday, I was 8 mins faster than the first time. 8 mins might not seem a lot, but in a distance run, for those of you who run and knows about athletics, you'll know that that is a BIG increase in pace.
26:16 is 7.31 km/hr and 18:09.80 is 10.571 km/hr. Of course, I am still quite far from my goal, that is 13:00.00 or less, and 13:00.00 is 14.769 km/hr!!! Of course, simple Maths will tell you that 13 mins is half of the time I took to run my first 3.2K... LOL
I think, I'll need another 6 months... at least...
Let's GO!
Of course, all that is nothing compared to Haile Gebrselassie, who yesterday set a World Record in the marathon - 2:04:26 That is crazy... If you have no idea how fast is that, that is 42.195 km in 2:04:26, or 20.346 km/hr!!! *Jaws drooping* That's even faster than some drivers on the highways...
